Bronwen~ Yesterday I was reading the book "Boundaries With Kids" by Cloud/Townsend & they have a whole chapter dedicated to the subject of your posting about motivation. How the internalization of motivation progresses in stages from fear of consequences to immature conscience to values/ethics to mature love/guilt. PS- I heart Jam.
